Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Cairo

You will be met by our representative inside terminal upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, assistance through immigrations and entry visa issuance if required, then through luggage collection and customs.

Transfer to the hotel, check-in and overnight.

Day 2The Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, Sakkara and Memphis

Breakfast at the hotel.

Pick up from the hotel by our Egyptologist Guide, drive to Giza, visit one of the wonders of the ancient world the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx; The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex.

Lunch.

Drive to and visit Sakkara, located only 27 km southwest away from Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for king Zoser), it is known as the oldest Pyramid on Earth and considered an important part in the process of the pyramid evolution,

Drive to and visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx are.

Drive back to the hotel.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3The Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Mohammad Ali, Mosque of Salah el Deen and Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Breakfast at the hotel.

Pick up from the hotel by our Egyptologist Guide, drive to and visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities which displays the largest and most precious items of the Egyptian art in the world, it exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to the King Tutankhamen -a collection of treasures-, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before they were discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Lunch.

Drive to and visit the Citadel of Mohammad Ali and the Alabaster Mosque of Salah El Deen.

Proceed to visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The innumerous shops in this district are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more.

Drive back to the hotel.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4The Forte of Qaitbay, The Bibliotheca of Alexandria and Alexandria National Museum

Breakfast at the hotel.

Pick up from the hotel by our Egyptologist Guide, drive to the famous city of Alexandria that lies by the shores of the Mediterranean sea,
Alexandria was founded around a small, ancient Egyptian town 332 BC by Alexander the Great, was best known for the Lighthouse of Alexandria (Pharos), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; its Great Library (the largest in the ancient world); and the Necropolis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. Alexandria was at one time the second most powerful city of the ancient Mediterranean region.

Upon arrival, proceed to visit the Forte of Qaitbay that was was built by the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Drive to and visit the bibliotheca of Alexandria, built in 2002 as a memorial to one of the largest and most important libraries in antiquity, the Royal Library of Alexandria.

Lunch at a typical Mediterranean restaurant.

Drive to and visit Alexandria National Museum Alexandria’s National Museum a large collection from the Pharaonic era, the Greek, the Roman to the Byzantine and the Islamic eras,
As well as the displays, statuary, and antiquities unearthed in and around the city (including finds from underwater explorations in the area offshore).

Drive back to Cairo, to the hotel.

Overnight.

Day 5Departure from Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel.

Pick Up from the hotel by our representative, Transfer to Cairo airport for final departure, assistance through airport check-in and immigration.
